Laboling offers Italian language and culture courses in Milazzo, Sicily since 1994. Laboling is a member of ASILS (Association of schools of Italian as a second language) and is recognised by the Italian Ministry of education.
Milazzo is located on a narrow peninsula facing the Aeolian Islands. City life here is truly Italian, as Milazzo is far away from mass tourism. It has easy access to all the tourist attractions and historical sites in Sicily which makes it an ideal location for the discerning language student.
The school is situated in the town centre, within walking distance from the historic quarter, the prt, the beach, shopping areas, restaurants, cafés and pubs. Our classrooms are bright and air-conditioned.
Courses are available in 6 different levels according to the Common European Reference Framework for Languages.

This year's 50+ classes will have 4 days with 3 hours per day of Italian language classes and 1 day (Wednesday) with a 4-6 hours outing to discover either a R...
L'Italiano Porticando reserves every year several weeks to the so called “Golden Age”, i.e. people over 50 who want to attend an Italian Language Course together with people of the same age. This year's 50+ classes will have 4 days with 3 hours per day of Italian language classes and 1 day (Wednesday) with a 4-6 hours outing to discover either a Royal Residence outside Turin or a visit to a wineyard with tasting of typical products and wines or an excursion to the beautiful regional park of La Mandria. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoon the students will have the possibility to take part in the afternoon activities to get to know Turin and to speak Italian also outside the classroom. The Wednesday excursion depends on the weather and the number of students.

Highlights
The Italian one-to-one and small group courses (max. 4 students) enable the students to put the learned grammar structures directly into practice as they assure a high degree of active participation at the lesson.
In fact, the experience showed us that the key factors for quick and in-depth results are a rigorous attention of the teacher to each student, a studying program tailored to the individual linguistic needs as well as a continuous practice of the learned structures under the guidance of an experienced teacher.
Particular aspects of language can be explored or emphasized according to the student’s wishes and needs. The One-to-one courses grant full flexibility in terms of schedule and program.
One week of our One-to-One courses corresponds to approximately one month in a class with other students
With 3-4 students per class, our Small Group courses are a good alternative to One-to-One course for those who prefer to be part of a group class but still wish to work on an almost individual level.
The One-to-One courses can be started and finished any day requested. The small group courses start every other Monday.
Italian Group Course - 20 lessons/week
Our Italian group courses are regular size courses with 7-10 participants per class, held from Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm for a total of 20 hours or more per week.
These courses may be suggested especially for people who have a long period of time at their disposal to study Italian language (from 2 weeks to 1-2 months).

Standard courses are Italian language courses with 5 to 8 people (due to the COVID-19 restrictions each groups has maximum 6 students). They are suitable for people who want to learn Italian in a group, meeting other people and having fun while learning the language. Though lessons are held for a group, our teachers will adapt the contents and the speed of the course to the needs of the members of the group.
This kind of courses are organized for all levels of knowledge of the European Framework for Languages (from beginners to advanced).
Standard courses can also be combined with Cultural courses which will complete the language course with knowledge on Italian culture and way of life.
All standard courses start normally on the first Monday of the month. This is binding for absolute beginners or if you want to start a level right from the beginning. People who already have some knowledge of the Italian language can start any other Monday (after an entry test).
