TANDEM San Sebastián

TANDEM San Sebastian is a Spanish language school, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, that stands out for the quality of education and the culture and age diversity of its students. We´ve been teaching Spanish since 1987 in a lively district close to the Zurriola surf beach. At TANDEM you can combine learning Spanish with our weekly Cultural Activities Program and the best experience packages (Surf, Gastronomy, Basque Country, Horse Riding and 60 plus) available all year round for a total immersion in spanish language and culture. In addition, we offer accommodation service for all those students who may need it, as well as free access to our conversation exchange. About the city, San Sebastián creates an impact on account of its beauty and its lifestyle. This Atlantic city seduces everyone because of its own special atmosphere, its architecture, the university, the lively streets, the exquisite Basque gastronomy and its culture: a combination of modernity and tradition.

Apartment with Spanish people and kitchen facilities

You live in an apartment with one or two Spanish people, who are studying or working. You will have your own bedroom and use of the kitchen, bathroom and living room. This option allows you contact with Spanish people, whilst at the same time maintaining certain independence.

Family with half board

You will be made to feel perfectly at home living with one of our families and this makes for a wonderful experience. Half board includes breakfast and dinner. Our accommodations are located in different areas of San Sebastián and in general you do not need more than 15 minutes by bus to the center or the school.

Payment details

For the booking confirmation please pay a deposit of 150 €. You can pay the deposit by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by Bank transfer. For payment by CREDIT CARD please send us an email or call our office at Tel + 34 943 32 67 05 and indicate cardholder, card number and expiry date. Once the deposit is received, a confirmation of your course and accommodation will be send together with all payment details by email. The remaining amount is to be paid by the first day of the course at TANDEM San Sebastián. If you prefer, you can also transfer the total remaining amount until 2 weeks before the starting of the course to our bank account.

Cancellation policy

Students must give written notice of cancellation to TANDEM San Sebastian by fax, post or e-mail. In case of cancellation no later than 3 weeks before the start of your course, we will retain 60 € of the deposit. Less than 3 weeks prior to the course beginning we will retain 120 €. In both cases the amount will be valid for another course during the same year in TANDEM San Sebastián. If student arrives late, is absent during any part of the course or leaves early, if a student decides to cancel his or her course after it has started no refund will be made. The school never cancels any course, even if there is only one participant. If the school is forced to cancel a course, activity or service contracted previously by the student, the school will refund the full amount.

STUDENT VISA

1. Fill in the registration form from our website.

2. Registration will be confirmed as soon as possible with a proforma invoice of the course and accommodation by email.

3. Once the TOTAL amount of the course and accommodation has been paid, we will send you all the necessary documents to present at the Spanish Embassy in your country.

CANCELLATION

If you are not granted a Visa, we will reimburse the payment, retaining a cancellation fee of 120 €, if written confirmation from the Spanish Embassy is provided. This should be send by Email to TANDEM SAN SEBASTIÁN.

The arrival and departure days and participation in our courses by non-European citizens will be checked by the local immigration office.
