Arabeya Language School was established in 2003 with the purpose of providing intensive Arabic courses for all levels of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA). Our philosophy is expressed in our commitment to, and emphasis of, small groups- the smaller the number of students, the more attention each student receives. This pedagogical belief is one in which we believe strongly and which is reflected in our programs. Though one- or two- student classes are ideal, we nevertheless encourage groups of no more than four students. This classroom situation benefits the quality of education from two sides: the student participates more in the reading, writing, speaking, and listening aspects of language and the educator becomes better able to identify the student’s strengths and liabilities so that he or she can construct lessons effectively and productively.

Program Information Course in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA) or a combination of both. 25 hours a week, minimum enrollment is 2 weeks (maximum depends on availability). Breakfast is included: either Oriental or Continental available (any dietary requirements must be relayed to the school before arrival). Shuttle to and from the airport is included. The teacher will provide the student with a private bedroom in her home. Arabeya will provide continuous support and supervision of the student’s stay. Arabeya’s specialised courses promise to provide specialist training that will take professionals, experts and scholars to high degrees of understanding and fluency in Arab culture and the Arabic language. A student can choose to take either 60, 80 or 100 hours. All the programs include a placement test to be completed before arrival; orientation with the Senior Instructor; free airport shuttle service from the airport to the desired accommodation; and a certificate of education with the official Arabeya stamp upon completion of the course.
